Foundation Magazine is the semiannual membership publication of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation, a 501(c)(3) educational for-cause organization that supports the National Naval Aviation Museum, located aboard NAS Pensacola, Florida. First published in 1980, Foundation features first-hand accounts and historical articles dealing with Naval, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Aviation; artwork from the nation’s foremost Naval Aviation artists; and rare photographs from the extensive collections of the Emil Buehler Naval Aviation Library and Robert L. Lawson. Any event, person, place, or achievement in the field of Naval Aviation since its birth in 1911 may be featured within the magazine, which often includes rare and obscure stories and perspectives.
